I'm a big fan of the wallet-phone case combination. I got one for my iphone 4, and upon realizing how little was in my pockets I never looked back. I've got an iPhone 6 now and have tried one of the wallet cases available for it, but that one is starting to fall apart. Besides it's current dilapidated condition isn't the only issue I have with the new case. The folding flap/booklet design is a bit of a carry over from traditional wallets, which I think I can do without, so I've decided to try making my own phone case. Here's the basic design with several variations on different details. I've never worked with leather before, so I don't know the best ways to mold and bind the material.
