When eating out at a restaurant, the first instinct of many people is to immediately adjust any plate set down in front of them. In the same way, when moving into a new home I think it's important to really take the time to make it suit your needs. After moving in, my roommates and I discovered that between us, there were too many kitchen items and too little storage. Pots and pans being a large space sink, we opted to build in our own solution. Though a pegboard wall was initially discussed, we opted instead for a simple hanging bar with hooks. This is just straight, generic Ikea (no hacks), and it's pretty simple, but it gets the job done.
