28 years old means 28 songs, and as usual it's quite an eclectic mix. There's a lot of electroic/video game-ish music here, some Gorillaz (of course), and a sampler platter from Les Claypool there at the end (it's weird and awesome stuff.) Not too sure where I found that German artist, and "Obey the Groove" is just so unapologetic pop (especially relative to everything else.) I've been obsessed for a few years with anything Cosmo Sheldrake does, and while I only have one of his new songs here, the sad, folk song "The Falcon" is a stand in for a beautiful a cappella cover by Cosmo, which spotify doesn't seem to have. One thing I've learned is that no mater how old I get, I will always crack a smile for a song called "Buttmachine" or a band named "Fartbarf." Enjoy my mature and sophisticated curation!

I didn’t know you made a playlist for each year! What a nice tradition. Hope this year brings many wonderful songs and other good things your way.
Yep! I have intentionally made playlists stretching back to 23! I may have been unintentionally making annual playlists before then. It’s always a fun, musical time capsule to revisit.
