I’ve been dabbling with sketching cartoons, a great way to pass the time!
I’ve doodled cartoons before, but lately I have been trying to figure out how to make them digital. There are two different techniques I attempted. Both start with a hand sketch, but neither found their way to becoming vector drawings, which, to my mind, is the highest level of polish.

The monkey was a Photoshop job. It was faster and came out better, but still has a few rough patches. Also, it’s not as convenient as the tablet. I’m going to look around for better apps, but since I don’t plan on paying money for said app, I’ll probably have to stick with Photoshop. Eventually I might get illustrator involved, but overall I’m pleased with both results.
